Planters Warts Home Remedies
Planters warts are a common, virus caused, skin infection. Often times these warts will go away on their own and don’t need treatment. However, that isn’t always the case. At times they grow and become quite painful. When this happens, they can be treated to ease the pain, decrease their duration, and to keep them from infecting others. The most effective plantar wart treatment will be one of a natural type.
Aloe Vera gel with no extra additives, or the gel straight from the leaf of the plant has anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties which help to kill warts. Every morning and evening wash the area where the wart is at and dry thoroughly. Place aloe vera gel on a cotton ball and tape it over the wart. Within a week the wart will begin to turn gray. Continue applying until the wart turns black and falls off.
Another home remedy that works quite well for planters warts uses apple cider vinegar. There are several different ways to do this one. At night soak a cotton ball in vinegar and place it over the wart. Cover it with a piece of duct tape. You can take it off during the day and put it back on at night. Continue until the wart turns black and falls off.
After applying the vinegar for two days, scrape the top of the wart off with a pumice stone. You should be able to see little black dots. These are the little roots of the wart. With a sharp needle remove the skin from around these dots and pull them out with a pair of tweezers. Once there are no more black dots, the wart will be permanently eliminated.
These are two very simple, easy to do home remedies for planters warts. The first one is to coat the warts with clear fingernail polish. Leave it on until the wart falls off.
The second one is this: A lady took her young daughter to the doctor because she had plantar warts on the bottom of her foot that were causing her considerable pain. The doctor chuckled and told her the easiest way to get rid of them was to smear peanut butter on the warts and have a dog lick it off. He explained that the dog’s saliva has a healing property that kills the root. She tried it and it worked. Her little girl giggled hysterically the whole time the dog was cleaning the peanut butter off!
Having planters warts frozen or surgically removed is a painful process that takes time to heal. The problem with these methods is that the warts often return within a short period of time. If you are plagued with plantar warts, choose a plantar wart treatment from the list above and give it a try. You will be relieved when you see them turn black and fall off.
