Wart Symptoms
Except from that fact that it can be contagious, irritating and ugly at times, a wart is generally a harmless condition that many people can live with. Aside from that it is something that can be cured and treated even at home. However, one must first learn how to recognize it to be able to treat it effectively. Knowing the different wart symptoms are important for it will give an idea not only of the validity of the condition but also of it type. This is because warts are often mistaken for other types of skin conditions like pimples, moles and calluses.
Generally, warts appear as rough bumps on the skin. If located on the feet such as in the case of plantar warts, it is often mistaken for calluses. However, warts have the tendency to be painful especially when pressure is applied on it. Also, it possesses tiny dots which are really the ends of the blood vessels. These tiny dots are not present on any type of calluses on the feet.
In other cases, warts can appear on the face as elongated growths. This is quite different from the common wart symptoms especially in appearance. This is why this type of warts is often mistaken for other facial blemishes like blemishes or moles. However, warts are more itchy and painful as compared to these two. Also, warts are certainly uglier as compared to other forms of blemishes.
Once any of these wart symptoms are noticed, the presence of one can definitely be assured. It can then be either left alone or removed through the use of the many forms of treatment that are available.
